Canyon de Chelly"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Programme du jour<\/h3>\n<p><em>Matin : de Monument Valley (Utah) \u00e0 Chinle (Arizona)<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Goulding&rsquo;s Campground \u00e0 Monument Valley : JOUR 13 : vendredi 26 ao\u00fbt.<\/li>\n<li>Route 163 jusque <strong>Kayenta<\/strong>, photos de <strong>Agatha Peak<\/strong> et <strong>Owl Rock<\/strong>, courses au <strong>Basha&rsquo;s<\/strong> et plein d&rsquo;essence.<\/li>\n<li>Route 59 vers Many Farms par Chilchinbito, puis route 191 jusque <strong>Chinle<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Encore 10 miles sur <strong>South Rim Drive<\/strong> jusqu&rsquo;au <strong>Spider Rock Campground<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Repas du midi dans le CC au campground.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em>Apr\u00e8s-midi : Canyon de Chelly (Arizona)<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Repos au Spider Rock Campground.<\/li>\n<li>Quatre points de vue sur <strong>South Rim Drive<\/strong>, de White House Overlook \u00e0 Spider Rock Overlook.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Impressions du jour<\/h3>\n<p>Nous quittons aujourd&rsquo;hui l&rsquo;Utah pour entrer dans l&rsquo;<strong>Arizona<\/strong>. La route 59 qui relie directement Kayenta \u00e0 Chinle est finalement moins d\u00e9cevante que pr\u00e9vu : une premi\u00e8re partie avec de verts (!) p\u00e2turages, au milieu (sur 5 miles environ) de tr\u00e8s belles roches multicolores, la fin \u00e9tant beaucoup plus aride. Chinle est une ville toujours aussi d\u00e9primante, mais nous avons retrouv\u00e9 avec joie le <strong>Spider Rock Campground<\/strong> et sa qui\u00e9tude. Howard Smith, le g\u00e9rant Navajo, nous a encore r\u00e9serv\u00e9 un accueil chaleureux (son chien Boy aussi).<\/p>\n<p>Les quatre points de vue de <strong>South Rim Drive<\/strong> (Spider Rock, Face Rock, Sliding House, White House Overlook) offrent une vue imprenable sur le Canyon de Chelly, que nous appr\u00e9cions beaucoup. La descente dans ce canyon, guid\u00e9e par Howard et initialement pr\u00e9vue pour cet apr\u00e8s-midi, est finalement report\u00e9e \u00e0 demain matin&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>La journ\u00e9e a donc \u00e9t\u00e9 reposante et plus fraiche que les pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes : la \u00ab\u00a0South Rim\u00a0\u00bb du <strong>Canyon de Chelly<\/strong> est situ\u00e9e \u00e0 une altitude de 2200-2300 m\u00e8tres.
