Allez y jeter un oeil si vous \u00eates en qu\u00eate d&rsquo;organisation !<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>Au moment o\u00f9 j&rsquo;\u00e9cris, je pense que ce sera notre dernier d\u00e9placement en Angleterre pour suivre ces concours 5*, les plus beaux au monde. Cela fera 19 ans (depuis 2004), et 19 concours (15 Badminton + 4 Burghley) et l&rsquo;\u00e2ge avan\u00e7ant, il faut passer le relais. <\/strong><\/em><\/li>\n<li><em><strong>Surtout que, sur la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode, nous avons vu : 2 JEM (Aachen 2006 et Normandie 2014), 1 Europe (Fontainebleau 2009), 4 CIC \u00e0 Aachen (2007\/08\/12\/17), 3 CCI \u00e0 Compi\u00e8gne (2007\/08) et Arville (2018). Reste 1 objectif : les JO 2024 o\u00f9 le complet se d\u00e9roulera \u00e0 Versailles (et nous avons les billets pour le cross&#8230;).<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/em><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000\">Mais, en y r\u00e9fl\u00e9chissant un peu, et si la forme reste pr\u00e9sente, pourquoi ne pas finir ces escapades par Blenheim Palace chez Lord Churchill Duc de Marlborough and family (Nord\/Ouest de Londres c&rsquo;est \u00e0 140miles\/225km\/2h45 de la sortie du Tunnel Chanel, vers mi-septembre ?? et c&rsquo;est un 4* de bon niveau, avec des formats courts et longs).<\/span><\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>Suite au couronnement du nouveau Roi Charles III le samedi 06 Mai, le cross se trouve d\u00e9cal\u00e9 au Dimanche 07 (c&rsquo;est assez exceptionnel mais d\u00e9j\u00e0 r\u00e9alis\u00e9 en 2010\/2011). Et encore une fois nous nous sommes pos\u00e9s au parking Luckington (pr\u00e8s d&rsquo;un grand arbre-gag- il n&rsquo;y a que \u00e7a !), \u00e0 l&rsquo;autre bout du trac\u00e9 et pas loin de l\u2019obstacle 10ab; le premier cavalier devant d\u00e9bouler vers 11h30, pile \u00e0 notre heure d&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Cause d&rsquo;un nombre de partants inf\u00e9rieur aux habitudes (65 au lieu 85), et un lot des meilleurs couples \u00e9tant non partants (ceux qui passent en toute fin d&rsquo;\u00e9preuve), nous n&rsquo;avons pas pu (pour la 1\u00e8re fois&#8230;) arpenter le tour en entier et sommes repartis un peu frustr\u00e9s. Nous avons march\u00e9 11 km\/17000 pas, et vu, photographi\u00e9, encourag\u00e9, chaque cavalier \u00e0 chaque obstacle (enfin ceux qui sont all\u00e9s au bout : 30 \u00e0 l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e). Le dernier pass\u00e9, nous avons enfin pu approcher, jauger et toucher ces obstacles impressionnants.<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>Ensuite nous avons regagn\u00e9 pour la 9\u00e8me fois, notre h\u00f4tel Days Inn sur la M5 \u00e0 l\u2019Ouest, par les petites routes (tr\u00e8s petites\u2026celles o\u00f9 il y a de l\u2019herbe au milieu, des bas c\u00f4t\u00e9s boueux, des refuges pour se croiser et des senteurs d&rsquo;ail des ours&#8230;) tortueuses, \u00e0 travers la verte campagne. Une charmante supportrice Fran\u00e7aise nous y attends pour une s\u00e9ance de papotage intensif sur notre passion commune (merci Marie-Christine*). Puis Fast food anglais et \u00e0 22h00 tout le monde dort.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&#8211; <em>Ce sc\u00e9nario est immuable avec nos rep\u00e8res dans le temps et l&rsquo;espace, mais le spectacle est toujours diff\u00e9rent.<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Le lundi 08 Mai est f\u00e9ri\u00e9 pour les Fran\u00e7ais, mais pas pour les Anglo-Saxons&#8230;, enfin si, pour ce WE de couronnement. Nous zappons encore une fois la visite v\u00e9to \u00e0 8h30 (!) et ensuite balades pour voir de pr\u00e8s quelques obstacles et arpenter les boutiques du \u00ab village \u00bb le tout pour 11000 pas et plus de 7 km. Puis le CSO des 10 derniers class\u00e9s, le d\u00e9jeuner sur l\u2019herbe (!), et enfin la finale pour le top 20 du CSO et son c\u00e9r\u00e9monial unique (le d\u00e9fil\u00e9 des cavaliers, la fanfare, la meute du \u00ab nouveau et 12\u00e8me \u00bb Duc de Beaufort), les Guest stars \u00e9tant membres de Mars Equestrian le nouveau sponsor. Bien s\u00fbr c&rsquo;est cette ambiance ind\u00e9finissable et la ferveur du public Anglais que nous venons y retrouver.<\/li>\n<li>Regarder ici le programme de chaque jour :<a href=\"https:\/\/www.badminton-horse.co.uk\/provisional-timetable\/\">https:\/\/www.badminton-horse.co.uk\/provisional-timetable\/<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li><em>Ils sont forts ces Grands Bretons, car apr\u00e8s les fortes pluies des vendredi\/samedi, il a fait beau (voire ensoleill\u00e9) les dimanche et lundi jusqu&rsquo;au moment de la remise des prix (pile\/poil) o\u00f9 un d\u00e9luge nous a cueilli pour rejoindre (tremp\u00e9s\/rinc\u00e9s) la voiture au fond du parking !<\/em><\/li>\n<li>La foule des fid\u00e8les spectateurs \u00e9tait l\u00e0 tout au long des 6\/7 km de parcours, sous les arbres, et dans le village. Le stade encore plein pour couronner les festivit\u00e9s. Et pour nous un retour comme d\u2019habitude un peu speed pour attraper la navette Eurotunnel (<em>l\u00e0 on remet les montres \u00e0 l\u2019heure +1h<\/em>). <span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><em>*Faut-il mentionner le fabuleux hasard qui place notre voiture et celle de notre animateur de groupe facebook \u00ab\u00a0le concours complet\u00a0\u00bb Mr et Mme Gautier que nous ne connaissions pas de visu&#8230;, l&rsquo;une derri\u00e8re l&rsquo;autre ! s&rsquo;en suit une discussion sympa et fort anim\u00e9e*<\/em><\/span>. Arriv\u00e9e \u00ab at home \u00bb \u00e0 minuit ! avec un peu de nostalgie en s&rsquo;endormant.<\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>Regarder ici le plan du parcours : <a href=\"https:\/\/www.badminton-horse.co.uk\/2023-cross-country-course\/\">https:\/\/www.badminton-horse.co.uk\/2023-cross-country-course\/<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Le Sport :<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Le dressage \u00e0 eu lieu les vendredi et samedi pour les 85 admis\/65 r\u00e9ellement pr\u00e9sents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Pour m\u00e9moire, comme depuis 2006, la partie Cross Test ne comporte plus les phases des 2 routiers et du steeplechase, mais uniquement le format des 30 obstacles de cross (50 sauts) sur 6600m en 11 minutes 35, dans le sens horaire. Pour information, en 2019 les anciens \u00ab majeurs \u00bb 4* deviennent 5*.<\/li>\n<li>Et qui a gagn\u00e9 ? encore une femme&#8230;<strong>Rosalind Canter<\/strong> (1\u00e8re apr\u00e8s le dressage) sur Lordships Graffalo l&#8217;emporte avec 15 points d&rsquo;avance sur Oliver Townend et Ballaghmor Class, puis 3\u00e8me <strong>Austin O&rsquo;connor<\/strong>\/premier podium Irlandais depuis 40 ans, 4\u00e8me Tom McEwen, 5\u00e8me Tom Jackson (qui \u00e9tait 10\u00e8me avant le CSO). Le N\u00b01 mondial Tim Price\/NZL est 7\u00e8me et les 2 \u00ab\u00a0anciens\u00a0\u00bb Pippa et William sont 10 et 14. Noter que Rosalind classe son 2\u00e8me cheval en 9\u00e8me place CHAPEAU ! <em>et que Oliver est sanctionn\u00e9\/avertissement\/\u00e9limin\u00e9 avec son autre cheval Swallow Springs (l\u00e0, pas chapeau&#8230;).<\/em><\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li><strong>Nos Fran\u00e7ais<\/strong> terminent honorablement : 11\u00e8me\/Luc Ch\u00e2teau, 13\u00e8me\/Gireg Le Coz, 27\u00e8me\/Arthur Duffort. Arthur Marx, apr\u00e8s un bon d\u00e9part, \u00e0 chut\u00e9 sans gravit\u00e9 sur le N\u00b013 du cross.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Chef de Piste depuis 2017 <strong>Eric Winter\/GB<\/strong>, nous a encore sorti un parcours de cross technique et spectaculaire, amplifi\u00e9 par les conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9o dantesques (aucun parcours dans le temps&#8230;). Le CSO n&rsquo;a pas \u00e9t\u00e9 en reste avec des doubles d\u00e9licats, et seulement 4 parcours sans faute.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Le c\u00f4t\u00e9 coulisses :<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Pour cette \u00ab derni\u00e8re \u00bb ??\u2026 c\u2019est encore notre groupe de fid\u00e8les (4 personnes-1 voiture-1000km AR) qui s&rsquo;est d\u00e9plac\u00e9, via le shuttle d\u2019Euro-tunnel. Logement au Days Inn sur la M5 proche (9\u00e8me fois depuis 2010).<\/li>\n<li><strong>15 ann\u00e9es (presque) cons\u00e9cutives <\/strong>pour Delphine (ma fille) et moi-m\u00eame (2004 \u00e0 2011+ 2014 \u00e0 2016 + 2018\/19\/22\/23), suivis de pr\u00e8s Elisabeth\/9 fois et 2 pour Adam mon petit-fils (9ans1\/2).
