Et pour la 14\u00e8me fois nous nous sommes lev\u00e9s aux aurores pour prendre la route d\u00e8s 5h30 pour rejoindre le \u00ab\u00a0Tunnel Chanel\u00a0\u00bb de Sangatte (pr\u00e8s de Calais) \u00e0 160km\/1h40, et y d\u00e9couvrir un terminal d\u00e9sert (!) o\u00f9 l&rsquo;on nous propose de monter dans la navette pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente (<span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><em>celle r\u00e9serv\u00e9e \u00e9tant \u00e0 8h20, enregistrement 7h35 max<\/em><\/span>). <em>Youpi 1\/2 heure de gagn\u00e9. <\/em>Pr\u00e9sentation des passeports valides<em> (conformes \u00e0 l&rsquo;inscription en ligne&#8230;<span style=\"color: #ff0000\">attention aux mineurs de nom diff\u00e9rent des accompagnants*<\/span>) <\/em>puis petit d\u00e9jeuner dans le wagon \u00e0 c\u00f4t\u00e9 de la voiture et nous mettons les montres \u00e0 l&rsquo;heure anglaise (<em>gain de 1h00<\/em>).<\/li>\n<li>C&rsquo;est parti pour la conduite \u00e0 gauche, les panneaux en miles, et les 135miles vers l&rsquo;Ouest (215km) en 2h20 vers notre station pipi, et change \u00a3\u00a3 \u00e0 Membury (entre les sorties 14\/15 sur la M4).<\/li>\n<li>Encore 26miles\/25mn pour la sortie 17 puis attaquer les petites routes de campagne. Etrangement c&rsquo;est calme, d\u00e9sert , et pourtant les panneaux jaunes\/noir \u00ab\u00a0Horses trial\u00a0\u00bb sont en place; les 12miles sont exp\u00e9di\u00e9s rapidement sans voir les 200.000 spectateurs attendus ce samedi 07 Mai.<\/li>\n<li>C&rsquo;est fait ! nous sommes gar\u00e9s au parking Luckington, pr\u00e8s de l&rsquo;obstacle 18, il n&rsquo;est que 11h00 (anglaise) et le premier cavalier doit d\u00e9bouler \u00e0 11h30.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>C&rsquo;est parti pour suivre le parcours en sens inverse du 18 au 2, puis du 31 au 18 en remontant le courant des spectateurs comme des saumons ! pour enfin revenir au parking vers 17h45 apr\u00e8s avoir march\u00e9 12 km\/17500 pas, et vu, photographi\u00e9, encourag\u00e9, chaque cavalier \u00e0 chaque obstacle (il y avait 83 couples au d\u00e9part). Le dernier pass\u00e9, nous avons enfin pu approcher, jauger et toucher ces obstacles impressionnants.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuite il a fallu rejoindre notre h\u00f4tel Days Inn\/Michaelwood sur la M5 \u00e0 l&rsquo;Ouest, par les petites routes (tr\u00e8s petites&#8230;celles o\u00f9 il y a de l&rsquo;herbe au milieu et des refuges pour se croiser) tortueuses, \u00e0 travers la verte campagne (20km\/30mn). Et enfin se prendre un super ap\u00e9ro sympa avec les copines (et mon petit fils, enchant\u00e9 !), champagne et saucisson Fran\u00e7ais, puis Fast food anglais et \u00e0 22h00 tout le monde dort.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Le dimanche 08 Mai, il fait encore beau, et nous arrivons trop tard pour le c\u00e9r\u00e9monial de la visite v\u00e9to. Mais balades au choix pour voir les obstacles et le ch\u00e2teau (et papoter avec nos cavaliers Jean-Lou\/Hugo ou leurs accompagnateurs\/Tom), ou arpenter les boutiques du \u00ab\u00a0village\u00a0\u00bb le tout 10500 pas et 7 km. Puis c&rsquo;est le CSO des class\u00e9s 20\/50, le d\u00e9jeuner sur l&rsquo;herbe devant le grand \u00e9cran, et enfin la finale pour le top 20 du CSO et son c\u00e9r\u00e9monial unique (le d\u00e9fil\u00e9 des cavaliers, la fanfare, la meute du \u00ab nouveau et 12\u00e8me \u00bb Duc de Beaufort), la princesse Anne, cette ambiance ind\u00e9finissable et la ferveur du public Anglais.<\/li>\n<li>Regarder ici le programme de chaque jour : <a href=\"https:\/\/www.badminton-horse.co.uk\/provisional-timetable\/\">https:\/\/www.badminton-horse.co.uk\/provisional-timetable\/\u00a0<\/a><\/li>\n<li><\/li>\n<li>Pour ceux qui voudraient arriver en avion, l&rsquo;a\u00e9roport le plus proche est Bristol* donc regardez sur un comparateur si c&rsquo;est jouable pour vous ! + loc de voiture l\u00e0 bas (conduire \u00e0 Gauche&#8230;).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Les 200.000 spectateurs attendus ce samedi \u00e9taient bien l\u00e0, mais la r\u00e9partition au long des 7 km de parcours, sous les arbres, et dans le village, n&rsquo;ont occasionn\u00e9 aucune g\u00eane pour voir le spectacle. L&rsquo;affluence habituelle du dimanche et le stade plein \u00e0 ras bord ont rendu ce WE inoubliable. Retour comme d&rsquo;habitude un peu speed pour attraper la navette Eurotunnel, celle de 21h20\/enregistrement max 20h35 (<em>l\u00e0 on remet les montres \u00e0 l&rsquo;heure +1h<\/em>) et arriv\u00e9e \u00ab\u00a0at home\u00a0\u00bb \u00e0 minuit ! peut \u00eatre une des plus belles \u00e9ditions. Tr\u00e8s bon classement de Gireg LeCoz en N\u00b014.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Pour m\u00e9moire, comme depuis 2006, la partie Cross Test ne comporte plus les phases des 2 routiers et du steeplechase, mais uniquement le format des 32 obstacles de cross (50 sauts) sur 6700m en 11 minutes 45, dans le sens anti-horaire. Pour information, en 2019 les anciens \u00ab\u00a0majeurs\u00a0\u00bb 4* deviennent 5*.<\/li>\n<li>Qui en sera le vainqueur ? apr\u00e8s 2 ann\u00e9es de disette, impossible de sp\u00e9culer car tous les couples inscrits sont des \u00ab\u00a0pros\u00a0\u00bb renomm\u00e9s. Une nouvelle g\u00e9n\u00e9ration talentueuse \u00e0 remplac\u00e9 les Nicholson, Todd, King, etc&#8230; mais le grand William Fox-Pitt et Pipa Funnel sont pr\u00e9sents (comme en 2004 lors de notre premi\u00e8re visite).<\/li>\n<li>Les Anglais, chez eux, semblent invincibles avec Laura Collett, Tom McEwen, Oliver Townend, etc.. avec les Price\/NZL en embuscade.<\/li>\n<li>Effectivement au bout du suspense du CSO on retrouve : <strong>Laura *<\/strong> (impeccable !), Rosalind Canter, Oliver en 3 et 5, Piggy en 4, etc&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Nous esp\u00e9rions de beaux classements pour nos 9 Fran\u00e7ais au d\u00e9part et nous en avons retrouv\u00e9 6 au bout de cross, puis du CSO : 18-Gireg, 30-Tom, 32-Jean-Lou, 34- Arthur D., 39\/40- Hugo et Cyrielle, \u00e0 ce top niveau c&rsquo;est encourageant !<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Nouveau Chef de Piste depuis 2017 <strong>Eric Winter\/GB<\/strong>, a d\u00e9fini un gros parcours de cross assez technique et spectaculaire,\u00a0 mais qui, avec des conditions m\u00e9t\u00e9o favorables (! donc sans pluie), nous a offert de tr\u00e8s belles prestations. Le CSO a \u00e9t\u00e9 le juge de paix final pour un suspens insoutenable&#8230;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Le c\u00f4t\u00e9 coulisses :<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Pour cette \u00ab derni\u00e8re \u00bb qui n&rsquo;en sera pas une&#8230; c\u2019est encore notre groupe de fid\u00e8les (5 personnes-1 voiture-1000km AR) qui s&rsquo;est d\u00e9plac\u00e9, via le shuttle d\u2019Euro-tunnel. Logement au Days Inn sur la M5 proche (8\u00e8me fois depuis 2010).<\/li>\n<li><strong>14 ann\u00e9es (presque) cons\u00e9cutives <\/strong>pour Delphine (ma fille) et moi-m\u00eame (2004 \u00e0 2011+ 2014 \u00e0 2016 + 2018\/19\/22), suivis de pr\u00e8s par Karine 11, et 8 pour Elisabeth et une premi\u00e8re pour Adam mon petit-fils (8ans1\/2).<\/li>\n<li>Voir l\u2019itin\u00e9raire depuis
